A burglary at home means a violation of privacy for those affected, which can often have serious psychological consequences due to the loss of a sense of security.
We ask for your attention
If there are suspicious persons or vehicles on your own property, at a neighbor's or in the street or housing estate, the registration number of the vehicle should be noted and the police should be notified immediately by calling 110.
The rule here is: It is better to call once too often than once too little! Because there is only a good chance of catching the burglars if suspicious observations are actually reported. These calls are free of charge in EVERY case - even if the observations later turn out to be "harmless".
Therefore: Don't be shy and ALWAYS call the police hotline 110 if you see anything suspicious!
Free advice
Our experts will also provide you with free and impartial advice on mechanical or electronic security measures that are sensible and recommended for your house or apartment. Of course, this also applies to planned new builds, conversions or renovations. Burglary protection can be implemented at significantly lower cost than retrofitting at a later date.
"At home safe" network
Police authorities, local authorities, chambers of trade, district trades associations, specialist trades businesses, insurance companies, industry and building societies have joined forces in the "Zuhause sicher" network to prevent burglaries and raise awareness of life-saving fire protection.
On 19.04.2010, the Paderborn district police authority and specialist trades companies for security technology, together with the district trades association, launched the Paderborn protection community in the "Zuhause sicher" network.
You can find more comprehensive information on the homepage of the "Zuhause sicher" network.
